Going back to school can be scary for any child. But for the 12.5 million children living in extreme poverty in America not having adequate supplies to learn makes it even harder. At Kula Cares, we believe that every child in the US deserves an equal opportunity to be set up for success.
Kula Cares provides essential items for schools and community programs to empower under-resourced students and teachers. Together we can improve the lives of children in disadvantaged communities by building self-esteem and investing in their futures.
School Supplies for Children
Many educational materials in local languages often need to be updated. We work with school leaders and publishers to ensure that students have access to current age-appropriate textbooks written in their primary language.
Resources for Teachers
We create bespoke continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their student communities. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful.
